Prenatal Support

·         2 Pre-natal visits to discuss needs and prepare you

           for labor birth and newborn

·         24/7 Email and telephone support and advice

           throughout pregnancy

·         Accompany you to meet with doctor or midwife

·         Suggestions for a more comfortable pregnancy and

           birth

·         Breastfeeding preparation, information, and support

·         Assistance with developing a practical birth plan

Labor Support

·      Massage and other alternative pain

         relief measures during labor

·      Ongoing support throughout labor and

          birth & immediate postpartum

·       Labor & birth positioning suggestions for comfort and

          labor progress

·       Photographs of labor, birth and new baby as

          circumstances allow

As a Doula, I  Do Not:

Make decisions for you

Perform any Clinical tasks

Project any of my own beliefs onto your experience 

PostPartum

·         Breastfeeding assistance immediately after delivery, if

            needed

·         1 follow up meeting, approximately 1 week post-partum

·         Written record of entire birth and labor

·         Light housework including dishes & laundry

·         Assistance with newborn care so mother can rest or         

            shower

·         Invoice for insurance reimbursement (clients are often

            reimbursed up to 70% of the fee paid)
